ExxonMobil Project – Basra Oil Fields (2011)

Lamsat Al-Barq Co. successfully executed a specialized electrical and mechanical scope of work for ExxonMobil at the Basra Oil Fields in 2011. The project focused on enhancing power distribution reliability and ensuring continuous operational performance within one of Iraq’s most critical energy sites.

The work included the supply and installation of a complete low-pressure distribution station for the surrounding residential complex, providing a stable and safe power infrastructure for on-site personnel and operational facilities. This system was designed to withstand heavy industrial loads and meet strict international safety standards.

In addition, the project involved the synchronization and integration of four industrial generators, enabling them to operate in full automatic mode. Lamsat Al-Barq’s engineering team designed and implemented an advanced control system allowing seamless load sharing, automated startup and shutdown sequences, and continuous monitoring to ensure uninterrupted power supply.

This project demonstrated the company’s capability to perform high-precision work in demanding oilfield environments, delivering reliable energy solutions and supporting the operational continuity of one of Iraq’s largest international oil partners.
